It seems like everyone is putting their two cents in on Super model Bar Refaeli’s relationship with Shutter Island star Leonardo DiCaprio. As of late, many people have been speaking out in opposition of the two being together and getting married. Why? Simply because Leonardo DiCaprio is not Jewish. Now let me remind you that there is no engagement… as of yet. However, with that said, there is quite a few rumors circulating around about them tying the knot.

Recently, far-right activist Baruch Marzel has been reaching out to Bar Refaeli. He sent her quite a strongly worded letter, in which he urged her not to marry Leo and to marry a Jew. “It is not by chance that you were born Jewish. Your grandmother and her grandmother did not dream that one of their descendants would one day remove the family’s future generations from the Jewish people. Assimilation has forever been one of the enemies of the Jewish people.” Marzel then explained his comments by saying “Someone like Bar Refaeli, who is famous, should be ashamed to betray her Judaism in this way,” he continued. “Part of the way of fighting this is by sending her a letter.” He has also tried calling her but, Refaeli has yet to answer.

In my opinion I do not think race or religion should play a role in any ones relationship, and if your heart feels it, then go for it. Do not let others influence you and who you love. I think that Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli should get married. Either way, we wish them the best.
